Fethiye Castle

The construction date of this castle located in the Fethiye district of Muğla is still open to question. It is supposed that the castle, ascending in the south of the district, belongs to the Knights of St. John. There are two small and simple rock tombs on the east side of the hill. The remains of the castle, which was built utilizing the left rubbles and ancient buildings around, indicate that it used have seven bastions.
